Donyi, an environmentalist, and a retired school headmaster, comes from Assam, a remote place in India, to New Delhi, the capital of India, to live with his son and daughter's families peacefully, but after seeing his son buying fresh oxygen in New Delhi, he gets involved in a pollution control drive in Delhi, the world's most polluted city. But his son doesn't support him in his campaign. Donyi becomes lonely in Delhi, during this time his wife’s romantic memory mesmerized him. Finally, his son realizes his mistake, but by then it is too late
